Do your research and approach each platform in accordance with its individual guidelines.

4. Not making small tweaks to your profiles

When you first set up your social media profiles it’s essential that your cover photo/profile pictures are perfectly pixelated, your bio is well-written in line with your branding, there’s a link to your website and other social profiles and that your contact information is easily accessible. Also, be sure to execute carefully thought-out strategies that make social posting organised and seamless. As mentioned above, do your research with every platform you use and post appropriately to gain the most positive results.

5. Not engaging with your audience

Social media is not a place for you to stand on stage and shout about your business to a silent crowd. It’s SOCIAL, which means you need to engage with your audience and make the effort to be as interested in them as you want them to be interested in your business.
