This 4-part series has provided you with insightful tips and advice on how to boost traffic to your website. From creating high-quality content to boosting your website’s shareability and influence across social networks, the purpose of this series was to shed some light on how to bring in high quality, consistent traffic – and ultimately increase sales.

We’re rounding up the series with some useful tips on how to create an amazing web design that seriously boosts traffic to your site:

Keep it Simple

Simplicity is key for a top web design. Keep your site clean by eliminating any unnecessary text and images, as this will allow your top content to stand out from the crowd. Include plenty of white space across your site to attract readers’ attention to the important text.

Be careful which colours you use on your website – background colours and font colours have an incredible psychological impact on readers, so keeping things as simple as possible is the most obvious option. Opt for black or grey font in a medium size against a clean, white background.

Use Beautiful Images

Image-centric content is what attracts more readers to your pages, so if you’re going to use images on your site ensure that those images are of a top quality. You can either take your own pictures or use a professional stock photography agency, such as Shutterstock (or a combination of the two).

Use a Modern Design

There are plenty of ways to modernise your website. Parallax scrolling is a stunning web design option that is easy on the eye and highly engaging. Its modern, responsive approach has been proven to perform well in search engine searches and keep readers engaged for longer.

Use Infographics

Infographics are becoming an increasingly popular way to get a message across. They are easy on the eye, easy to navigate through and highly shareable. Infographics are also popular across social media feeds, and as mentioned in part 2 of our series, it’s critical that your content is shareable if you want to boost website traffic.

We hope you enjoyed this 4-part series, How to Boost Traffic to your Website. By following the tips outlined in each part of this series you can guarantee better, stronger and higher quality traffic.
