Creating great content for your website has never been more important. It enables you to publish information that builds a trusting and loyal following of ideal customers. As you develop a blog or website filled with regular content, you will be able to build relationships with a community of trusting followers who admire you and your brand.

Content marketing is fast becoming a strategy that enables you to become recognised as a leader in your industry. It is also an excellent way to drive sales without using the ‘hard sell’ tactics that were traditionally used.

In part I of our Content Marketing guide, we bring you some great tips and hints that are designed to help you to better manage your content marketing efforts and stay inspired:

Create a Spreadsheet

Begin with creating a content marketing spreadsheet or calendar. In this spreadsheet you should include information about the type of articles you plan to write and the frequency with which you plan to post those articles. You can make your spreadsheet as detailed or as simple as possible; the purpose of your spreadsheet is to plan your future posts and make everything as clear and organised as possible.

The Article Title

When you begin the writing process, do not set your title in stone until the article is complete. This is because your article can take many different twists and turns before reaching its conclusion and your original article title is likely to change as a result once you complete the article.

Stay Inspired

When you write countless blogs and articles on a regular basis it can be very easy to lose inspiration. To prevent this from happening, stay inspired by creating an inviting writing space, taking regular short breaks and listening to uplifting music (classical music has been proven to stimulate the brain).

Always have a Dictionary and Thesaurus on Hand

Keep a dictionary and thesaurus tab open when writing your articles to remain consistently inspired. Thesauruses are a superb way to find a unique and unusual synonym to keep your text interesting and attention-grabbing.

Interview Industry Experts

From time to time you will find yourself lacking in inspiration for your next blog post. Why not interview an industry expert and turn this into a blog post? This is a quick and easy way to create an interesting blog article featuring expert content.
