Online media agency, 8 Ways Media, has created a new web design for gym chain, the Fitness by California. The Swiss-based agency collaborated with the gym to design a website that would attract more traffic and heighten revenues.
The Fitness by California is a Swiss gym chain with three gyms in Geneva and a fourth opening soon. The company wanted a modern web design that was engaging and attractive.
8 Ways Media first created a brand concept that perfectly reflected the values and philosophy of the gym. From here, they develop a customised web design that was also responsive. The site features solid colour blocking primarily in black and white. Although it has a drop down menu, its design encourages users to scroll from top to bottom, accessing the information they need as they navigate through the site.
When users click for more information they are then taken to a new page offering detailed information about a particular area of the gym. Each page has a black and white image at the top of the page and a body of text in white font with a dark grey background, making it easy on the eye. There is also a clear timetable offering information about the gym’s fitness classes.

This particular design was fully customised in line with The Fitness by California’s new branding. It also combines the latest technological innovations and creativity to ensure that visitor attention and engagement is captured for longer.
